Dwight Pelz Gets a Shoutout.

Excerpted below are Dwight's quotes about the OFA, followed by the link to the whole article:

Dwight Pelz, the chairman of the Washington Democratic Party, even offered to “send you the talking points” on his own warm relationship with OFA.

“When we got started it was pretty rocky,” said Pelz, who said he’d lost three staff members to make room in the new budget for the new group. He added, however, that there’s an upside. “OFA is keeping people involved,” he said.

Cheap Beer And Prose

If you're in Seattle (or even if your not), I'd like to pump attending Cheap Beer and Prose, "Seattle's biggest, coolest, hippest reading series," co-sponsored by Richard Hugo House and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Mark your calendar -- Thursday, January 28: admission's free; PBR's $1; starts at 7 p.m. at the house.

Bring cash. Come early. PBR has been known to run out and seating can sometimes be, um, difficult. I once sat under a table, behind a wall, by the bathroom line, with five other people. (Take that room sharing in Olympia). But the events are well attended by some really diverse and amazing folks.

If anyone is interested in going, let me know.

Purpose

Greetings Fellow IDF Classmates (and our adoring stalkers),

For the purpose of creating a more perfect communicating union, I decided to create this forum for our members to more freely communicate.

Going to a dope concert? Needing a ride? Lost your pet? Have an opinion that must be heard? Well here's your spot to contribute to your fellow IDF'ers !

We truly have an amazing class of free thinkers and social people. With that in mind, everyone owns this page so feel free to float ideas of how to make it better.
